My family is planning a getaway next year to Hawaii for a couple of weeks (or that's how long we're hoping to stay) I can't wait to rent a house and relive some of our favorite pastimes...

Taking the boys to the beach EVERYDAY while daddy was at work.
NOT something I miss...Hawaiian cockroaches. We had to bomb our place every few months because of these critters. They would fly around at night and land in my hair while I was sleeping!!!

aww, these were so fun to see! What a fun simple time life was. I have to say life is still so fun, but so not simple anymore. Thanks for sharing these, so fun to see them! I didnt know you guys were married at BYUH?!
So funny. I remember when we first got married and lived in Q building, that NOTHING would wake my husband up when he was sleeping, but if someone bounced a basketball outside our widow on the way to the court my husband was practically out the door. Good stuff

I see my hubby in one of those. He misses those days. Me too-College was one of our most memorable and funnest times being at BYU-HI. Food fest, cheap movies, Latino Club & Culture night, Going to Haleiwa to get shave ice, Chocolate Haupia Cream Pie from Ted's Bakery, Walmart & Costco on Saturdays. . .and of course cockroaches. David and Tim killed like 25 with a blow-gun the night before we moved out. Good times-hope to see you guys sometime again. I think you are probably in my brother n laws ward., because they live in Eagle Mountain too. Let me know if you know who they are. Thanks for sharing the pix! Suzy:0)
girl, with as many TVA shots as I saw in your collection of pics I was waiting for you to say you miss living in TVA...LoL!! Loved seeing your two boys as lil babies...and now they all grown up and going to school..how's that bullying thing going?

First time tahat I came upon your blog and it's lovely, so many beatiful photos!
Your pictures make me miss Hawaii....even the cocroaches. I'm glad I still have 2 brothers there with their families if I get enough money to go visit. BYUH were fun times!
